Making Moves With Projects That Matter.

Making Moves is an ongoing, collaborative effort to inform, engage and activate the public about the top-priority projects of the Noblesville NOW capital improvement plan. Through Making Moves, the city and its key partner organizations will share timely information about these transformative projects so you know what is happening, when, where and why.

The Noblesville NOW Capital Improvement Plan was unveiled in 2018 identifying top-priority projects that span the entire community and achieve the objectives of Noblesville Mayor John Ditslear to strengthen infrastructure, create greater economic development, enhance public safety, improve connectivity and expand the downtown.

The time is NOW to take Noblesville forward by Making Moves with projects that matter.

Because you matter!

Building the first downtown apartments in more than a century with a 300-car parking garage will support the vitality of our historic downtown square – with more residents and parking capacity – and a unique housing type not found elsewhere in Noblesville.

With this project’s construction, there also will be moments of temporary disruption. Communicating the latest updates will help ease any inconvenience while highlighting why these projects are important for Noblesville’s future.

A joint project between the City of Noblesville and Hamilton County, the Logan Street Pedestrian Bridge will be widened over the White River for improved pedestrian access between our historic downtown and the Federal Hill District.

Midland Trace Trail Phase 3

Extending our east-west, 12-foot multi-use trail located south of SR32 0.9 miles from Willowview Road to Hague Road in 2019, creating 3.4 total miles of local outdoor recreation that connects Noblesville with neighboring Westfield.

Levee Trail

Constructing a new, 1.4 mile multi-use trail running along the east side of Morse Reservoir from Morse Park and Beach to Carrigan Road – to open in 2019.

Riverwalk Trail Phase IV

The final phase will extend our scenic Riverwalk Trail from Division Street to Southside Park to be constructed and open in 2019. The total trail runs 0.8 miles and will connect two Noblesville Parks with the White River Greenway.

The Noblesville Police Department is currently located in the Public Safety Building, which was converted from the old post office in 1992 when the department had 32 employees. It’s time to find a new home to serve a modern police force with 101 employees in a community that will only continue to grow. Relocating the police department allows the Noblesville Courts and Fire departments to expand its footprint inside the Public Safety Building.
